Every Lineage Letters product is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions and no renewals. The 100 Questions book is a digital download; the Companion App, Family Vault, and Memorial Edition are delivered as license keys redeemable at app.lineageletters.com. Purchases are processed by Gumroad under Gumroad's own terms of sale.
Files you download are yours: print them, copy them, give them to your family. Recordings, transcripts, and photos captured through the app belong to your family, and you can export a complete archive at any time. Memorial Edition hosting is included for life with no recurring fee. If Lineage Letters ever shuts down, every customer — and every memorial steward — receives a complete archive of their files and, for memorials, a static export of the page plus a transition guide. We mean this promise; it's the reason the product exists.
Record people with their knowledge and consent. Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, and don't use memorial pages or guestbooks to harass, impersonate, or defame anyone. We may remove content that violates these rules, and we'll contact the account holder when we do.
The 100 Questions book and all digital files are licensed for personal and family use. You may print unlimited copies for your own family and give copies to family members. You may not resell, redistribute publicly, or republish the questions or designs commercially.
30 days, no argument. If a product doesn't land for your family, email us one line and we'll refund you — including return shipping for the Memorial Edition medallion. Refunds are issued through Gumroad to your original payment method.
Some app features (the full buyer dashboard, multi-storyteller exports, memorial steward tools) ship in stages. Your license key is valid forever, and every feature added later is included at no additional charge. If we're not ready and you'd rather wait, the refund policy above applies.
Lineage Letters provides tools for recording and keeping family stories. We are not a substitute for legal, medical, or estate-planning advice. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us.
